Museum 2015

Kunsthaus Dahlem

Berlin has another museum! June saw the opening not just of the Brücke Museum, but also the Dahlem Art House, which is dedicated to German post-war modernist art from East and West. The building, on the edge of Grunewald Forest, was originally constructed for the sculptor Arno Breker. After the Second World War numerous German and international artists lived and worked here, such as Bernhard Heiliger, whose sculptures can be found in the garden, and Wolf Vostell.
