The MACHmit! Museum for ChildrenFor the Long Night of Museums we are bringing Paul Klee's famous work The Twittering Machine to life! We're building a giant machine from all sorts of material that hisses, clanks and whirrs. The organist Thomas Noll will make the museum organ twitter and in the museum workshop you can create your own twittering pipe. There are also lots of other things to try out.
Kunsthaus DahlemR6 The opening exhibition “Berlin Portrait: Artistic Positions in Berlin's Post-War Modernism 1945-1955” shows over 70 works including sculptures, paintings, graphics and photography. Among the works on display are those by Ruthild Hahne, Karl Hartung, Bernhard Heiliger, Jeanne Mammen, Louise Stomps, Heinz Trökes and Hans Uhlmann.
