The Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe (Information Centre)R1 R5 On 26th September 1943, over a hundred Jewish prisoners fled from the East Polish ghetto Nowogródek through a self-made tunnel to join the Bielski brothers' Jewish partisan group on the other side. Amongst them was the then 14-year-old Jack (Idel) Kagan, who, 70 years later, travelled back with young Israelis to where it all happened to look for traces and clear the tunnel. Documentary, 2015.
